Origin:
Honey 100% from Spain. In Andalusia and Extremadura, Black Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus camaldulensis) and on the Cantabrian Coast White Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus).
Characteristics:
Clear amber color, floral aroma with marked, very intense and very persistent moist wood component. Sweet to the taste with slightly acidic and salty notes.
Uses and Combinations:
Traditionally used for respiratory and urinary infections and as an antiseptic and a balsam.
Combines well with strong flavored fish and with white meats as well as with salads and some flavorsome fruits such as peaches.
