Characteristics:
Clear amber colour with a strong and persistent floral aroma with a very marked and characteristic phenolic component. Sweet to the taste with clear acidic, and sometimes salty, notes.
Uses and Combinations:
Traditionally used as an antiseptic and as a remedy for throat and skin infections, although it can also be used to stimulate digestion.
This honey is good with strong infusions, cured cheese, braised and roasted meats.
